Oh I do like to be beside the Lea
Oh I do like to be beside the Lea
I have designed this seaside peepshow style painting on a 2x1.2m wooden board to be coloured in with chalk
– and of course to stick heads through and take a photo – by visitors of our exhibition coordinated by Valeria Bateson
for Waltham Forest Arts Club, also featuring works by the following artists:
Martin Adams, Valeria Bateson, Susan Comegys, Brenda Coyle, Eugene Coyle, Eleanor Firman, Pauline Evans,
Valerie Grove, Kim Kirby, Wendy LeBer, Veronica Lindsay-Addy, Naomi McIlroy, Yvonne Overton, Helen Porter,
Tom Scott and Paul Tucker
6–26 June 2010 at The WaterWorks Nature Reserve and Golf Centre
Launch party 6 June, 3.30–5.00pm
during which The Rose and Crown Singers (Director: Aaron Clingham) will perform the premiere
of "The Rival Engineers" by Eleanor Firman.
