Welcome to the "Why War" exhibition page of London based curator and artist Katja Rosenberg. I was asked to curate part of the visual content for an exhibition to commemorate the beginning of the first world war at the Freud Museum London.
6 August - 19 October 2014 |
The exhibition is about the psychological causes and impact of war, using art, poetry, music and political analysis. It is inspired by Freud's writings on war, including his correspondence with Einstein that was published under the title "Why War?"
Further artist contributors to the exhibition are Jane McAdam Freud, Gabrielle Rifkind, Melanie Mckennell and Children from Griffin Primary School, Wandsworth. Please click here for further information on the entire exhibition. Click the artists' names to visit their individual websites. |
